Dutch Court Rules Shell Must Cut Emissions 45% by 2030

This is Exciting News!!! A Dutch court has ruled that Shell Oil must cut its emissions by 45% by 2030! This opens the door for future cases. Earlier in the year, a Dutch & UK court ruled Nigerians can sue them for environmental damage! Check out this piece for more details.

Fungus on Cicada Makes them Sex Crazed

This is a fascinating piece on a fungus about 5% of Cicada get that causes their abdomen & genitalia to fall off but also make them sex crazy! It does not say though if this fungus is invasive or being caused by Climate Change...I'll have to ask some questions...but it is interesting.
