I found this piece by Green Matters interesting on Sustainable Ideas and properly disposing of Christmas cards interesting. I have framed some of mine over the years. I like the 2nd bookmark idea. I think I'll be making those for next year's Christmas Stockings. I will add I do get many more family photo cards over the years and I just frame those and put them on my wall and replace the photo each year with the current one. They mention making gift tags, but then those might be used only once??? Perhaps laminate them & then you can wipe off after the gift is open & use them again the following year?
They also talk a bit about wrapping paper at the end. Here is one idea I've done using it for the background of shadow box frames. :-)
